.. _operational_repository: Introduction ============ .. figure:: main_repo.png Registration ------------ If you do not have an account on the archive click on the :kbd:`REGISTER` button in the front page. You will then fill a registration form including your name, email, username and password. These crendetials will be used to access a range of services provided including the interactive platform based in Jupyter and remote storage. After registration you will get an email with a link to confirm your email. Once you click on that link an administrator will process your registration and activate your account. .. note:: Your username and password give access to a variety of services, the repository, database, JupyterLab and remote data access. Login ----- In order to login into the archive, click on the :kbd:`LOGIN` button of the front page and type your username and password. Once logged in you will see an interface as shown in the screenshot below. .. figure:: archive_main.png The interface has a few sections: * In the top there is a toolbar with icons linking to help, notifications, quick search and other tools depending on your level of access (e.g. database management). * The main area contains a list of *cards* that link to the different sections or applications in the archive. These include query of the repository, data pipelines, access to Jupyter or Help pages. * In the left there is a drawer that expands when you hover with the mouse. This drawer contains also quick links to the different sections of the archive as well as the :kbd:`Logout` button.
